Rodney Fossett, a 21-year-old man from Decatur, Alabama, was tragically shot and killed on July 13, 2021, in what authorities later determined to be a homicide. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when Fossett was found with gunshot wounds at an apartment complex located on the north side of Decatur.
