Kenneth Dewayne Vest, a 60-year-old man from Decatur, Alabama, was fatally shot on March 26, 2020, in a tragic incident that led to a homicide investigation by the Decatur Police Department. The shooting occurred in the late afternoon hours at a residence in the city. Officers arrived at the scene after receiving reports of gunfire, and upon finding Vest, they discovered he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
