In the summer of 2018, the life of 31-year-old Christopher Devon Preston was tragically cut short in Decatur, Alabama. On the evening of July 7th, Decatur Police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting in the 200 block of 8th Street SW. Upon arrival, they discovered Preston, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Despite medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
