On March 1, 2014, 21-year-old Colt Mintz Iverson tragically lost his life in Decatur, Alabama, due to an accidental gunshot wound. Born on January 6, 1993, in Decatur, Colt was the son of Jody and Kim Jeffries Iverson. He was married to Lauren Cole Iverson and was a father. Colt was also survived by his four brothers—Phoenix, Noah, Cole, and Deacon Iverson—and his grandparents, Bob and Louise Iverson, Bill and Pam Jeffries, and Will and Donna Miner.
