On March 18, 2018, 23-year-old Chaz D. Harris was fatally shot in Decatur, Alabama. The incident occurred during a confrontation at a residence on the 1000 block of 5th Avenue SW. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots and observed individuals fleeing the scene immediately afterward.
