On September 7, 2019, 26-year-old Johnathan Samuel Einhellig was found fatally shot inside his vehicle at Knollwood Apartments in Mobile, Alabama. Responding to reports of a shooting around 7:17 a.m., police discovered Einhellig deceased at the scene.
Later that day, 19-year-old Lyndon Hunter turned himself in to authorities. He was charged with murder and possession of an altered firearm. According to police, Hunter shot Einhellig while he was in his car and then fled the scene.
