On May 10, 2020, 19-year-old Klintaveus DeShun Thompson, affectionately known as "Tay," was fatally shot at John's Seafood on Springhill Avenue in Mobile, Alabama. The incident began when 38-year-old Titiana Overton Shelton initiated a physical altercation with one of Thompson's friends, who was in the third trimester of her pregnancy.
