Keith Fredricks, a 19-year-old man from Mobile, Alabama, was fatally shot on February 15, 2022, in what authorities later determined to be a homicide. Fredricks was found dead at the scene of a shooting in the 2500 block of St. Stephens Road, a residential area in Mobile. Police responded to reports of gunfire shortly before midnight and arrived to find Fredricks suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite efforts by emergency personnel to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
