On May 20, 2012, Travis E. Martin, age 22, was shot and killed in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred in the South Linden neighborhood of the city, specifically in the 1300 block of East 21st Avenue. Columbus Police responded to reports of gunshots in the area, and upon arriving at the scene, they discovered Martin with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate efforts by first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
