In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Mobile, Alabama, the life of 28-year-old Monterio Fudge Harris was tragically cut short. On December 8, 2024, at approximately 1:15 a.m., Harris was a passenger in a vehicle traveling south on Interstate 65 near the Airport Boulevard exit. It was then that another vehicle pulled alongside and unleashed a barrage of gunfire.
The vehicle Harris was in was struck multiple times, and he sustained severe injuries.
Despite the chaos and danger, he was driven by a private vehicle to a local hospital. Medical personnel fought to save him, but his wounds proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced deceased shortly after his arrival.
