On December 8, 2024, at approximately 1:15 a.m., 28-year-old Monterio "Fudge" Harris was fatally shot while traveling as a passenger on southbound Interstate 65 near Airport Boulevard in Mobile, Alabama. According to the Mobile Police Department, another vehicle approached the car Harris was in and opened fire, striking the vehicle multiple times. Harris was transported to a local hospital by a private vehicle, where he was later pronounced dead.
