In the early evening of October 27, 2021, the life of 23-year-old Jerome Demetrius Ryals, Jr. was tragically cut short in a parking lot in his hometown of Mobile, Alabama. A male, Ryals was in a shopping center on Pleasant Valley Road when he was fatally wounded by gunfire. First responders were called to the scene at approximately 7:25 p.m. following reports of shots being fired. Upon their arrival, they discovered Ryals suffering from a gunshot wound.
