On a Saturday evening in November 2017, a dispute in the parking lot of a Panera Bread in Mobile, Alabama, tragically cut short the life of 24-year-old Justin Edwards, a Black male. The altercation, which occurred on November 18, escalated to gunfire, leaving Edwards fatally wounded.
