Richard Berryhill, a 46-year-old man from Mobile, Alabama, was fatally shot on May 25, 2018, in what authorities later determined to be a homicide. Berryhill was found with multiple gunshot wounds in a residential area on the city's north side. The shooting occurred late at night, and responding officers discovered Berryhill lying outside near his vehicle. Despite efforts to revive him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
