In the summer of June 2021, a West Mobile pool party turned into a scene of violence that claimed the life of 18-year-old Isiah Dickerson. The young man was attacked by a group of individuals, an assault that tragically escalated.
As the altercation unfolded, Dickerson attempted to flee the chaotic scene. However, he was pursued by one of his assailants, Isaac Parker. Parker chased Dickerson down and shot him multiple times, inflicting fatal wounds.
The promising life of the teenager was cut short in an act of brutal violence.
Following an investigation into the homicide, Isaac Parker was arrested and charged with the intentional murder of Isiah Dickerson. In October 2025, a Mobile County jury found Parker, then 22, guilty of the crime. The following month, in November 2025, he was sentenced to life in prison for the murder. Notably, just six months before his conviction in Dickerson's case, Parker had been acquitted in a separate, unrelated murder trial.
