In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Mobile, Alabama, the life of Davion Holder, a 19-year-old Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. On July 11, 2021, at approximately 12:20 a.m., violence erupted in the 5500 block of Vienna Avenue, shattering the quiet of the neighborhood. Mobile Police Department officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of a shooting, arriving to find a grim situation.
