On January 6, 2021, at approximately 9:25 p.m., Mobile Police responded to reports of multiple gunshots at the Peppertree Apartments located at 6076 Sperry Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered that 25-year-old Larry Roberts had been shot at the Peppertree Apartments and had fled to the nearby Hounds Run Apartments at 5954 Sperry Road. Tragically, Roberts succumbed to his injuries at that location.
