On a Saturday afternoon in Mobile, Alabama, the sound of gunfire shattered the quiet of the Cottage Hill Place Apartments. It was January 11, 2020, when police responded to a call of shots fired at the complex located at 7600 Cottage Hill Road. Upon their arrival at approximately 2:22 p.m., they discovered a crime scene, the initial pieces of a story that would end in tragedy.
