On August 20, 2022, at approximately 9:37 p.m., Mobile Police officers responded to a reported shooting at a residence in the 1000 block of Scottsdale Court. Upon arrival, they discovered 32-year-old Jamies Johnson inside the home, suffering from a gunshot wound. The Mobile Fire-Rescue Department pronounced him dead at the scene.
