On January 6, 2020, 19-year-old Erick "Li Erick" Johnson was found deceased in a vehicle that had collided with a pole in the 700 block of Coliseum Boulevard, Montgomery, Alabama. Responding officers discovered that Johnson had sustained a fatal gunshot wound. Investigations suggested that the shooting occurred near the intersection of North Decatur Street and Columbus Street, after which Johnson drove to the location where he was found.
