Chaun Williams, a 30-year-old African American male from Montgomery, Alabama, was fatally shot on June 20, 2020. The incident occurred around 10:40 p.m. in the 1500 block of North Decatur Street. Montgomery Police Department officers and fire medics responded to reports of gunfire and discovered Williams suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
