On January 6, 2018, 19-year-old Deontae' Edwards, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, tragically lost his life to gun violence. He was one of two victims in a double homicide that also claimed the life of 26-year-old Ojay Baker. The incident occurred during a robbery attempt, leading to their untimely deaths.
