Any updates on this case?
On June 21, 2023, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Montgomery police officers and fire medics responded to a shooting incident in the 3300 block of Atlanta Highway. Upon arrival, they discovered 21-year-old Gregory Penick Jr. with a fatal gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
In the same incident, 19-year-old Darnell Eaves was found with life-threatening gunshot injuries. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
