In the late hours of a Wednesday evening in Montgomery, Alabama, the life of 21-year-old Gregory Penick was tragically cut short. On June 21, 2023, Penick, a male resident of Montgomery County, was fatally shot in an incident that also claimed the life of 19-year-old Darnell Eaves. The violent encounter unfolded at approximately 9:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Atlanta Highway.
