On January 2, 2021, the Montgomery Police Department responded to a shooting incident near Peabody Road and Manasse Drive in Montgomery, Alabama. Upon arrival, officers discovered 26-year-old Martell Williams suffering from a gunshot wound. Tragically, Williams was pronounced dead at the scene, marking the city's first homicide of 2021.
