Tariq Steward, a 21-year-old man from Town Creek, Alabama, was fatally shot on December 12, 2020, in a violent incident that shocked the small community. The shooting occurred in the early morning hours outside a home in the rural area, where Steward had been socializing with friends. Authorities responded to a call reporting gunfire and arrived to find Steward suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite attempts to provide medical aid, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
