On February 28, 2021, 41-year-old Kiron Quntel Golden was found shot in Phenix City, Alabama. This incident marked the seventh homicide in Russell County and the second murder in Phenix City that weekend.
Following his passing, funeral services for Mr. Golden were held on March 7, 2021, at the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home, with Pastor Charlie L. Sanders, Jr. officiating. He was laid to rest in Edmond Cemetery.
