In the late winter of 2021, the community of Phenix City, Alabama, was unsettled by the untimely death of Kiron Quntel Golden, a 41-year-old Black man. On Sunday, February 28, 2021, Golden’s life was cut short by an act of gun violence in the city where he resided. His passing left a void in the lives of his family and friends, who remembered him as a wonderful and friendly person with a great heart.
