Kendarius Jackson, a 27-year-old man from Selma, Alabama, was fatally shot on May 15, 2021, in what authorities later determined to be a homicide. Jackson’s body was discovered in a residential area of Selma, and law enforcement was quickly called to the scene after reports of gunfire. When police arrived, they found Jackson with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite attempts to administer life-saving measures, he was pronounced dead shortly after emergency responders arrived.
