Joshua Womble, a 21-year-old man from Mobile, Alabama, was tragically shot and killed on June 6, 2021, in what authorities later determined to be a targeted homicide. Womble was found outside an apartment complex in the 700 block of Schillinger Road North in Mobile, suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but despite their efforts to resuscitate him, Womble was declared dead shortly after the incident.
