In the early hours of a Wednesday morning in Birmingham, Alabama, the sound of gunshots echoed through the Powderly community, leading to the discovery of a grim scene. Inside a home on August 16, 2017, police found 20-year-old DeJohn Lewis Williams and 22-year-old Dante Lanier Hall, both deceased from single gunshot wounds. Williams was a resident of the home where the two men were found.
