On a cold winter evening in Selma, Alabama, the life of 20-year-old Aaliyah Tyanna Hatcher was tragically cut short. On January 9, 2022, gunshots echoed on Minter Avenue, and when the sound faded, Aaliyah had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. She was rushed to Vaughan Regional Medical Center, but her injuries proved fatal, and she was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival.
