On June 24, 2018, at approximately 11 p.m., 36-year-old Breana Williams was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting at her residence on the 400 block of Young Street in Selma, Alabama. Her 17-year-old son, Dejour Edward, was also critically injured in the incident and transported to a hospital in Jackson, Mississippi, where he remained in critical condition.
