On October 7, 2011, 21-year-old Lavisha Tynae Fuller was fatally shot during an incident at the 12th Stone nightclub in downtown Selma, Alabama. The altercation began inside the club, leading to gunfire that resulted in Fuller's death and injuries to four others.
