On January 14, 2024, 38-year-old LaToya McCord was found unresponsive inside a vehicle at the 2100 block of Woodrow East Avenue in Selma, Alabama. Responding to a shooting call around 7:15 PM, Selma Police Department officers discovered McCord deceased at the scene.
