In the early morning hours of June 2, 2013, the life of 28-year-old Keoshia L. Hill, a Black female from Selma, Alabama, was tragically cut short by gunfire. The violent incident that claimed her life also resulted in the death of her stepfather, 59-year-old Bill Jackson. The initial discovery of Hill's body near a vehicle launched an immediate and intensive investigation by local authorities.
