Ganem Emil Avila, a 4-year-old boy from Waukesha, Wisconsin, was last seen on January 8, 2013. He was allegedly abducted by his non-custodial mother, Maria Delacruz Avila. A felony warrant for custodial interference was issued for Maria on September 25, 2013. Authorities believe that Maria may have taken Ganem to Mexico, and she has been known to use the alias "Ines." Maria has distinctive tattoos on her lower back and shin.
Ganem is described as biracial, with short brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was 3'2" tall and weighed around 50 pounds. An age-progressed photo has been released to show what Ganem might look like today, as he would now be a teenager. Despite efforts by authorities and missing persons organizations, no significant updates regarding Ganem's whereabouts have been reported since his disappearance.
