LaQuinten Jerrin Morrissette, an 11-year-old African American boy from Mobile, Alabama, was tragically killed on May 30, 2022, when gunfire struck his home in the R.V. Taylor Plaza housing complex. LaQuinten was inside his residence on Duval Street around 7:46 p.m. when bullets were fired into the dwelling, fatally wounding him.
