In the crisp days following Thanksgiving, a profound tragedy shattered the peace of a Colorado Springs community. Seventeen-year-old Miguel Romero, a young man known for his infectious smile and kind soul, was found deceased on November 29, 2024. The Hispanic teenager had spent the evening at a friend's house in the 2500 block of Royalty Court. It was there that police were called to a grim discovery shortly before 6 p.m.
