In the early hours of Father's Day, June 18, 2023, the life of 22-year-old LeCharles King was tragically cut short in Mobile, Alabama. The male victim was at the Pride Gas Station on St. Stephens Road when violence erupted.
Shortly after 1:20 a.m., the sound of gunfire pierced the night, prompting a response from the Mobile Police Department.
Upon their arrival at the gas station, officers discovered King on the ground, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency services were rendered, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and LeCharles King succumbed to them. The Mobile Police Department initiated a homicide investigation into the shooting.
