On May 10, 2022, 46-year-old Mfundisi Mingo was fatally shot in Mobile, Alabama. The incident occurred in the 2900 block of Steadham Drive, where officers responded to an assault complaint around 6:47 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Mingo suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
