Jermayne Doolittle, a 44-year-old man from Mobile, Alabama, died in December 2019, succumbing to injuries sustained in a shooting. Remembered as a well-known motorcycle enthusiast, his death followed an altercation that turned fatal.
On the evening of Sunday, December 15, 2019, at approximately 9:20 p.m., police were dispatched to the 2500 block of McLaughlin Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered Jermayne Doolittle on the ground with a gunshot wound.
Investigators determined that Doolittle had been engaged in an argument with another individual, which escalated to the point of the shooting. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment but ultimately passed away three days later from his injuries.
Following an investigation into the homicide, the Mobile Police Department identified 29-year-old Ravon Harris as the suspect in Doolittle's death. In May 2020, Harris was arrested and charged with murder in connection with the shooting.
