On June 10, 2022, 21-year-old Jacoby Carter was fatally shot in Montgomery, Alabama. The incident occurred around 7:50 p.m. in the 2200 block of Upper Wetumpka Road. Upon arrival, officers found Carter with a fatal gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following an investigation, Montgomery police arrested 19-year-old Damario Capleton on June 19, 2022. Capleton was charged with capital murder in connection with Carter's death and was taken into custody without bail. Author ...Read More
