On the night of July 16, 2022, 18-year-old Quantavious Howard of Eufaula, Alabama, was fatally shot. At approximately 11:30 p.m., Eufaula Police responded to reports of gunfire near Dr. T.V. McCoo Boulevard. Upon arrival, they learned that two individuals with gunshot wounds had been transported to Medical Center Barbour.
