On Christmas morning, the city of Eufaula, Alabama, was disturbed by an act of violence that resulted in the death of a 34-year-old man. Orlando Woodley was inside a nightclub on December 25, 2019, when he was shot in the upper body. After the shooting, he was transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
Tragically, Woodley succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. In the wake of the fatal shooting, the Eufaula Police Department launched an investigation into the incident.
Their efforts led to the arrest of a suspect in connection with the Christmas Day homicide.
Johnny Albert Wilson, a 26-year-old resident of Eufaula, was taken into custody and charged with murder. Wilson was subsequently held at the Eufaula City Jail as he awaited a bond hearing. The investigation into the death of Orlando Woodley was reported to be ongoing.
