On May 8, 2016, 22-year-old Devanta Deon Davis of Georgetown, Georgia, was fatally shot at the Jazzy Bones club in Eufaula, Alabama. The incident occurred early Sunday morning, leading to Davis's death. Following the shooting, the Eufaula Police Department conducted an investigation that resulted in an arrest connected to the murder.
