Death by Force

On January 7, 2024, 15-year-old Eufaula High School student Zyaire Kayon Hill was fatally shot while traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 431 in Eufaula, Alabama. The incident occurred around 3:01 p.m. when a bullet entered the vehicle through the back driver's side, striking Hill in the head as he sat in the front passenger seat. He was transported to Medical Center Barbour, where he was pronounced dead at 3:52 p.m.
