An 18-year-old male, Shydee Tremaine Lamar Denson, of Eufaula, Alabama, was fatally shot in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 31, 2019. The incident prompted an investigation by the Eufaula Police Department.

Later that same day, authorities announced the arrest of a suspect in connection with the shooting. The individual taken into custody was identified as 17-year-old Jeremiah Trammell, also of Eufaula. Trammell was subsequently charged with murder.
