Smiley Wilson, a 50-year-old man from Eufaula, Alabama, was tragically killed on February 16, 2024, in what authorities have determined to be a homicide. Wilson was found with multiple gunshot wounds outside a residence in the southern part of the city, after reports of gunfire in the area. First responders arrived at the scene shortly after the shooting and attempted to provide medical assistance, but Wilson succumbed to his injuries before he could be transported to the hospital.
