On October 28, 2020, 72-year-old James "Happy" Williams was fatally shot in Eufaula, Alabama. Williams, a retired roofing professional known for his carpentry work, was discovered with gunshot wounds in the early morning hours.
Following the incident, the Eufaula Police Department initiated an investigation, which led to the arrest of 23-year-old Dewayne Jamar Henderson. Henderson was charged with murder and held in the Eufaula City Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
