In the city of Eufaula, Alabama, a confrontation turned deadly for 20-year-old William Antwone Tharp Jr. On June 26, 2024, an altercation allegedly took place near the 500 block of Gammage Road. During the dispute, gunfire erupted, and Tharp was struck by four bullets. In the immediate aftermath, he was rushed in a personal vehicle to the Medical Center Barbour for emergency treatment.
