Robert Ritter, 72, a male from Muskegon, was enjoying an early summer Sunday when the quiet of the 1400 block of Jiroch Street shattered around 5:50 p.m. on June 2, 2025. Neighbors heard the crack of gunfire; officers arrived to find Robert Ritter, 72, male, wounded in the torso. Medics worked on the pavement before rushing him to Trinity Health Muskegon, where he died of his injuries later that evening.
