On a late spring evening in Washington, D.C., the life of 19-year-old Antwone Dwayne Tolson was tragically cut short. On May 19, 2014, at approximately 11:29 p.m., the young Black man was shot and killed in the 2600 block of Bowen Road in Southeast D.C. He was reportedly suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
